Rotavator
The Supreme rotavator is a PTO-driven rotary tiller that cuts, mixes and levels the topsoil into a fine seedbed in one pass. Manufactured in Faisalabad by Supreme Agri Implements, it replaces the two or three cultivator and planking passes that the same job traditionally required.

What does a rotavator do?
A rotavator differs from every other tillage implement in that it is powered rather than dragged. L-shaped or C-shaped blades mounted on a driven rotor cut into the soil and throw it against a rear hood, shattering clods and mixing residue through the worked layer. The result is a level, uniform tilth ready to drill immediately.
The saving is real: one rotavator pass in place of multiple cultivator and planking passes means fewer tractor hours, less fuel and less soil compaction from repeated wheel traffic. On tight schedules โ the turnaround between rice harvest and wheat sowing, for example โ that time can decide whether the next crop is planted in its optimum window.
The trade-off is that rotavation is aggressive. Working the same depth repeatedly, season after season, can form a compacted pan just below the blade path and break down soil structure over time. Used sensibly โ varying depth, and periodically running a chisel plough to break any pan โ it is one of the most productive implements on the farm.

- Vary your working depth between seasons to avoid forming a compacted pan beneath the blades.
- Blades are a wear part โ inspect them each season and replace as a set to keep the rotor balanced.
- Ground speed controls fineness: going slower produces a finer tilth but can over-work the soil.
